RED WIDOW PROTEST IN WARSAW
In blood red robes and deathly white faces, such characters could be seen in September in London. On Saturday they appeared on the Warsaw metro and on the streets of the capital.
The Red Widows March is part of the extinction protests that have recently swept the world. The characters, dressed in long, bloody robes, must grab attention and make one think about the deadly threat posed by the climate crisis. The red performance took place recently during London Fashion Week. The widows mourned the “death of the planet” and called for an end to the “toxic consumption system.”
